Following the Way of Jesus suppers

“Following the Way of Jesus” suppers are a weekly opportunity to learn about some simple practices that can help you become more aware of the presence of Jesus in daily lives. Meeting regularly with others and sharing how it is going offers gentle accountability, encouragement and insight.

The evening will begin with a simple supper, talk over the meal, a look at the Bible and Night Prayer. Each evening will last from 7.15-9.15 pm and is free.

The Suppers are at Geoff and Marie-Louise’s home at 5 In der Acht, L-7302 Steinsel.  Please can you register to attend so we can plan catering. It would be good to plan to come regularly and the meals we are limited to the number who can sit around a table for conversation.

A week of guided prayer in the midst of life

Talking about prayer with another, experienced person is another way to grow awareness and practice. From 10-16th March we are partnering with the English-speaking Roman Catholic Community to offer a daily check-in and guidance at lunch-time or the evening based at St Alphonse church. You can download more details here.

Lent lunches

Lent lunches help to raise money for the Bishop’s Lent Appeal. We also pause for a simple Lent reflection and Midday Prayer. This year the money raised will support the work of Hestia Hellas which provides psychosocial support (PSS) and livelihoods training to vulnerable populations in Greece.

Rani Roloff will be hosting a Lent lunch on Tuesday, 19 March from 12:30 – 14:30. Please contact Rani to let her know if you are attending.
