Holy Week and Easter
We mark this strange, bitter-sweet day with the practice of distributing Palm crosses in our services.
In the 11:00 service we will have an extended reading about the story of Christ’s betrayal, trial and crucifixion.
An evening meal with conversation, Communion and an opportunity to share a short reading, poem or picture about your experience of consciously practicing the way of Jesus during Lent. Feel free to join in, even if you could not take part in the practices.
This will take place on 18th April from 7.15 to 9.15 pm at Geoff and Marie-Louise Read’s home at 5 In der Acht, L-7302 Steinsel.
Please tell us you are coming so we can cater. We can accommodate as many as would like to come!
Good Friday reflections
At 12:00 in our Chapel join others as we mark together the pain, and explore the strange power, of the cross. Why did all roads lead, for Jesus, to the cross? What might that mean for those of us who call ourselves His followers?
On Good Friday evening and Easter Eve we are invited to join services at the English-speaking Roman Catholic Community at St Alphonse Church. You can find our further details here.
