Reflective rural rambling, a chance to breathe/think!
A two-hour walk at Echternach to enjoy nature, with opportunities for silence, focused conversation, prayer, ending with tea and cake and a short service in the Basilica crypt chapel.
The walk starts from the car park near the bridge to Echternacherbrück. You will need strong shoes, the first part is a steady climb, and it is not suitable for buggies.
You are also welcome to enjoy the gardens in Echternach and then join in the tea and service.
- 14:00-17:30 on Sunday 15th September.
Generous Harvest giving through Fondation Maison de la Porte Ouverte (FMPO)
Make a difference by bringing foodstuffs to our Harvest services for us to pass on to FMPO for them to pass on to others in need here in Luxembourg. Here are the things they have requested:
Tea, UHT milk, ground coffee, biscuits, biscottes/toast, sugar, honey, tinned vegetables, stock cubes, rice, pasta, sachets of powdered/instant soup, small bottles of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and packs of fruit juice (from concentrate), dried fruit, tinned fruit, nuts, cereals, flour, muesli – all with a good expiry date please.
Home-made products from seasonal produce (eg apple juice from apples, jam from fruit, tomato chutney) would also be welcome, and more practical/transportable than the raw vegetables/fruit themselves.
Both normal and gluten-free items would be appreciated.
