Worship

As Christians we believe the full purpose of our lives is to praise God. As we do so we begin to recognize more and more that everything comes from God and to feel even more thankful and full of praise.

Our Church gathers Sunday by Sunday primarily for worship, to celebrate all that God is and all that God has done. We are a church for all ages and we worship using traditional hymns and choral music and also modern songs with a worship group. We attend to God’s words in Scripture (the Bible). We gather around the table of the Lord in the Holy Communion. We offer prayers for our own needs and the needs of the world.

Our face-to-face Sunday Services are currently suspended. We now have one, via Zoom, called All Saints on Sunday.

But when we can meet face to face these are our Services::

09.30am  Holy Communion in traditional language (said)

11.00am  Holy Communion (sung) in contemporary language with hymns and sermon.

  • Junior Church (children aged 3-13) meet and a crèche is provided.
  • On the first Sunday of the month (except in January and August) our worship is all-age Holy Communion with a worship band.
  • Refreshments are served after the service.

6.30pm Choral Evensong (usually the first Sunday of the month except January and August)
